Update on Lillypie

Yesterday we went for Lilly's 2 month checkup. She was 10 weeks on Monday, and growing like a weed! This time Seth was able to come with us to the visit, which I was super pleased about so he could be with Lilly for vaccination time. I did not like that experience last time and wanted Seth to know what it feels like...He did a great job at comforting her after the shots, and she eventually fell asleep in his arms before we made it out the door. It was precious:)
A few updates on her growth...

She's been sleeping though the night (around 10 or 11pm to 6 or 7am) since 8 weeks! I thank God for this miracle because I know I didn't do anything to get this to happen. I had just started to worry how I would go back to work on so little sleep, and BAM! She started sleeping through the night! I hear this comes and goes so I'll take it when I get it, but we're going on 2.5 wks of 8hr nights so I'm loving it!
Lilly smiles all the time now - especially when you lay her on the changing table. There is a paper wreath above her changing table and I'm not sure if it's the colors or the shapes of the cones, but she just gets tickled over seeing this wreath! Immediately after you put her up there, she begins to kick her legs, mover her arms, and suck in air as though she were flying up to meet the wreath! She smiles, coos and talks to this wreath - sometimes for 15 minutes. Its hilarious to watch! She is becoming more verbal each day, and Seth and I just love this new stage she's in.

Yep - here's that big smile she gives us when she's looking at the wreath. Priceless. Well, $10 to make the wreath. But who's counting?

Lilly is getting very good at sitting in the bumbo seat for a good chunk of time. She occasionally leans over and gets stuck, but for the most part she's doing well with holding her head and back up straight.

Tummy time is a toss up. Sometimes I think it's doing lots of good for her muscle strength, and then other times she falls asleep in a heartbeat while on her stomach. Oh well, she needs the rest just as much:)

Lilly's weight was 11lb 14oz (70th%), height was 23.5in (80th%) and head circumference was 40cm (75th%) so our little girl is growing strong and healthy. Thank you God.

She is such a joy and we love being her parents...it's the most precious gift God could give us as a married couple, next to His Son Jesus. We are so thankful!
