Out of one cabin and into another

With all the snow and ice we've had since Lilly was born, I haven't been able to go out of the house very much with a newborn. Needless to say, the first few weeks made me a bit stir crazy. Seth wanted to do something special for me for Valentines Day so he booked a few nights at the Watershed Cabins. Specifically the Brown Bear Lodge. We went with our friends and pastor, Mike and Vanessa Willis, and their little girl Maddie. Seth had taken me to Watershed Cabins for our anniversary and we absolutely LOVED them! Going back was such a treat! It's definitely a different ballgame going to the mountains in the winter vs the fall, but it was gorgeous and relaxing just the same! We did lots of reading, Olympic/tv/movie watching, eating, coffee drinking, and baby playing. A little bit of napping. And a little bit of mountain hiking. What more could I ask for? It was a wonderful break from our cabin back in Raleigh...thanks babe!

Lilly did lots of sleeping, and if I was lucky, I caught a few winks myself:)
Family picture...Lilly's all bundled, but I promise, she's there.
Apples and Willis' venture out of the cabin for a bit one afternoon.
Lilly's umbilical cord fell off the 2nd day we were there so she got her first bath! Just like at the hospital, she loved it!
Cute baby tush:)
The mountains in the background are the mountains of Tennessee. Great view, huh?!
Yep. Lilly's favorite mountain activity by far.
Seth and Maddie loved playing hide and seek on the couches.
Maddie's excitement is so contagious:) Lilly Jo was jumping for joy inside. Can't you tell?
Daddy/Daughter moment on the couch. Love it:)
