After only 100 short days, our house is complete and the papers are signed...it's officially ours! To be exact, it's Seth Apple and Rebecca Sarver's house, but that will all change in 2 weeks! Here's a few moving in pics...thank you to everyone (the pavels, feltons, stouts, shipmans, caleb, krystal, brooke, mom, etc) who has helped the past week - loading and unloading, unpacking, putting in blinds, installing ceiling fans, moving couches, etch. We are so grateful for you!

When it rains, it pours
This past weekend we had a shower thrown for us by my Vineyard church family. How fitting it was that our shower fell on the day Hurrican Hanna came to town. Thankfully it wasn't too strong and everything cleared up by the afternoon! We had such a wonderful time and were so blessed. Michelle and Jennifer (and many others) worked so hard to make this time so special - it was beautiful, the food was wonderful and the fellowship was just great! And I must admit it was fun getting gifts for our new house! Thanks ladies, and all who helped...we love you!

God's Goodness and Belated Birthdays
There have been a couple of times over the past few months where it seemed that our house closing could be delayed, due to various issues that I honestly don't really understand. But God has been gracious to allow those issues to be resolved. With the growing threat of some hurricane activity in the Carolinas it has caused some new issues to arise in the area of home insurance. As of right now we are set to close on September 19th, Lord willing...we'll keep you updated!
One of the most recent updates to the house is the garage door...
With all that's been going on I didn't get a chance to post some pictures from Seth's birthday dinner with our friends at Kanki! Seth turned the big 27 on August 26th....HAPPY BELATED BLOG BIRTHDAY:)
Brian and Debbie Lowther gave him this cool frisbee, probably in hopes that he might join some ultimate team with Brian...which is what Seth really needs. One more sport to add to his repertoire. I'm honestly not sure how to spell that word and don't want to look it up. Sorry.
Seth was joined by a bunch of his closest friends for dinner at his favorite restaurant - Kanki. I must say, we had the best show I've ever seen...this guy was tossing rice at the whole table, seeing who could catch it in their mouths. It was pretty hilarious:)
Side note: If anyone has a blue duffle bag that does not belong to them, with a new pair of rainbows in it, please feel free to holler at me. The bag is mine and the shoes are Seth's bday present that he hasn't received yet. Thankfully he's very understanding:)
Love you Lou:)
